Kaymer reclaims third spot from McIlroy

Martin Kaymer reclaimed third place from Rory McIlroy in the latest world Golf rankings thanks to his fourth place finish at the French open.

McIlroy, who was not in action last weekend as he continues to savour his fantastic win in the US open, drops one place to fourth in the latest rankings released today.

Thomas Levet, who won the French open tournament, is this week’s big mover, jumping 215 places from 352nd place to 137th .

Meanwhile Nick Watney is into the World’s top 10 for the first time after his victory in the AT&T National at the Aronimink Golf Club. Watney moves from 14th to 10th thanks to his two shot win.
