QPR manager Neil Warnock is keen to bring West Ham forward Carlton Cole to the club.
West Ham are looking to offload the 27 year old as they adjust to life in the Championship but are not prepared to let Cole leave on the cheap having turned down a 3 million pound bid from Stoke.
According to the Guardian Sam Allardyce is believed to holding out for closer to 6 million pounds plus add-ons for the 7 times capped England striker.
Former Chelsea striker Cole has been with West Ham since 2006 and has two years left on his Upton Park contract.
