Leicester remarkable summer rebuilding continues with the club announcing the signing of Reading defender Matthew Mills.
The 24 year old who had been linked with Premiership side Stoke joins for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of 5 million and has signed a four year deal.
Mills, who will link up with another new boy Sean St Ledger in the centre of defence is the sixth player signed by Sven Goran Eriksson since the end of the season.
The former England manager had this to say about his latest recruit “Matthew is a quality defender and we are delighted to have secured his services.” He is the latest player to pledge his commitment to us, which is another great endorsement for the work we are doing here at Leicester City.
