Galway mentor, Tomas O’Flatharta has named Michael Meehan in his starting 15 for this Saturday’s crunch All-Ireland SFC qualifier with Meath in Navan.

Diarmuid Blake also comes in at centre-back, with Fintan O Curraoin named at centre-field alongside Joe Bergin.

In attack, Thomas Flynn debuts in the number 10 jersey in a half-forward line which includes Mark Heir and Matthew Clancy, while Meehan will be operating alongside veteran Padraig Joyce and fellow marksman Cormac Bane for the clash with the Royals this weekend.

Galway (SFC v Meath): A Faherty; J Duane, F Hanley, C Forde; G Bradshaw, D Blake, G Sice; J Bergin, F O Curraoin; T Flynn, M Hehir, M Clancy; M Meehan, P Joyce, C Bane.
