Waterford make two changes for London clash

Waterford have made two changes to their line up for the All Ireland football qualifying clash with London in Ruislip on Saturday.

With Shane Briggs on holidays in Australia and Tommy Prendergast out injured boss John Owen’s has drafted in Cillian O’Keeffe and Paul Whyte to the team.

Owen’s has also made a number of positional changes with Keiran Connery moving to centre back and Eamonn Walsh taking up his normal left corner back position.

Waterford haven’t played competitively since they lost to Cork in the opening round of the Munster Championship although they did beat Leitrim in a challenge game last weekend.

Waterford team: Kieran Cotter; Maurice O’Gorman, Thomas O’Gorman, Eamonn Walsh; Tony Grey, Kieran Connery, Wayne Hennessy; Mick Ahearne, Gary Hurney; Cillian O’Keeffe, Sean Fleming, Paul Whyte; Brian Wall, Brian Phelan, Patrick Hurney.
