Fergal O’Donnell has named an unchanged Roscommon for Sunday’s Connacht SFC final against Mayo at Dr Hyde Park (2pm throw in).
Roscommon will be led by St Brigid’s centre back Peter Domican while Stephen Ormsby has overcome a hamstring problem to retain his place in the full-back line.
O’Donnell will looking to his full forward line trio of Senan Kilbride, Donie Shine, and Conor Devaney , to inspire a first victory over Mayo at senior level since 2001.
Despite history been against them, Roscommon have lost their last four Championship encounter’s against Mayo, O’Donnell men come into this game as the Connacht Champions following their success against Sligo 12 months ago and retain nine players who started for the county in that win.
Niall Carty, Donal Ward and Senan O’Grady will be making their Connacht final debuts on Sunday while Kevin Higgins who was a second half substitute 12 months ago makes the starting line up this time round.
The last time these two counties met in a Connacht final Mayo won by 10 points.
