Galway football board chairman John Joe Holleran has said that the board will take their time and make no rash decisions on the future of manager Tomas O’Flatharta.

The Kerry native has had a difficult first year in charge and it ended in Navan last Saturday when Meath defeated the Connacht side by a point.

“There’ll be no rash decisions. We won’t be doing anything until the Connacht minor final is over next weekend, and hopefully we have success in that, and then we have the next round of the senior and intermediate club championship,” Holleran told the Connacht Tribune.

“We won’t be doing anything or discussing anything for a few weeks at least”, said the chairman.

Sportsnewsireland.com will have live score updates on all GAA Championship matches over the summer.
