McLeish eye’s N’Zogbia deal

Aston Villa are believed to have stepped up their interest in Wigan winger Charles N’Zogbia and have submitted a formal bid in the region of 10 million pounds.

Villa manager Alex McLeish rates the French winger highly and tried unsuccessfully to sign while Birmingham manager.

McLeish has now made N’Zogbia, who has one year remaining on his current deal with the Latics, his number one target to replace Liverpool-bound Stewart Downing.

Manchester City’s Shaun Wright-Phillips and Republic of Ireland winger Aiden McGeady are also thought to be on McLeish’s radar should he fail to land N’Zogbia. will have live score updates on all GAA Championship matches over the summer.
