Liverpool interested in Angban Bekanty

Angban Bekanty looks set to become the latest member of the Ivory Coast Under-17 World squad to make the move to England. The Stade D’Abidgan could be about to sign with Liverpool, following in the footsteps of Coulibaly Souleymane wh recently joined Spurs, thats according to the clubs president

Reports in the Ivory Coast claim Liverpool have agreed a fee with Stade d’Abidjan for the services of the striker however club president, Abi Koffi Richmond, says that despite the EPL side’s interest nothing has been agreed with him yet and other sides are also interested in the youngster.

Speaking to skysports.com Richmond said: “Liverpool has not agreed anything with me yet, I have nothing written.

“They are a great club and respected club, I do not need to tell them how to do their work.

“I have contact from them through some agents but they are not the only club interested in the boy.”

Meanwhile another player from the squad Diarrassouba Drissa is reportedly set for a trial with Stoke City.
