According to reports on SetantaSports.com Fulham have made a £1.5 million move for Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen.

The Danish international only arrived at Anfield last season from Juventus in 4.5 million pound deal but struggled to make an impact, finishing the season with 21 appearances.

Following the summer arrivals of Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson central midfielders are at a premium at Liverpool and it seems that Poulsen could be the shown the exit door.

Liverpool are keen to get rid of the player and with Martin Jol eager to strengthen his wafer thin squad a move could be on the cards. Although Fulham might need to persuade Poulsen to take a drop in wages in order to make the move to London.

Poulsen looked a very good player while at Seville however his stock has fallen in Italy and now in England but a move to Fulham could be good for the player. Craven Cottage has revitalised the careers of a number of players (Danny Murphy, Damian Duff and Bobby Zamora) in recent seasons and with Martin Jol in charge the club will push on another level this season.

Sportsnewsireland.com will have live score updates on all GAA Championship matches over the summer.
