AC MILAN are reported to have made a £45million bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
The Italian giants have offered £30m plus a player deal in a bid to steal the midfielder from Barcelona, who have been tracking the Spanish international for the last few seasons.
Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu is determined to succeed with a £31m deal to bring Fabregas to the Nou Camp, although Arsenal insists the player has a £40m valuation.
Arsenal knows that Fabregas wants to leave the Emirates, but they will not sell him at a cut rate fee. This latest move from Milan gives the Premiership more bargaining power and Barcelona may yet have a fight on their hands to get their man..
