Leeds United star Max Gradel has said that he cannot commit his long-term future to Elland Road until the club place an offer on the table.
The Ivory Coast winger was one of the best players in the Championship last season, scoring 18 goals in the league.
He is now in the final year of his current contract and the club are keen to tie him down as he has attracted plenty of interest from other teams.
Gradel(23) has been linked with a summer move as Leeds cannot afford to lose him on a free transfer next year.
“I can’t sign a deal when there is no deal,” explained Gradel. “I’ve been waiting for a contract but I haven’t been offered a deal yet.
“I’ve said I want to take this club back into the Premier League, but you can’t guarantee what’s going to happen.”
