Tranmere Rovers have completed the signing of former Barnsley winger Martin Devaney from on a one-year deal.
The English born former Irish youth international was a free agent after seeing out his contract at Oakwell experienced
The 31-year-old has made over 400 Football League appearances and Tranmere boss Les Parry was very pleased with new signing.
Speaking to the club’s official website Parry said “I am delighted to bring a player of Martin’s quality to this club, He’s a great crosser of the ball, can beat players and pick out a team-mate”.
“He’ll add creativity to our squad and look to get forward as often as he can, providing some great opportunities for our strikers.
“He’s got great experience in the Championship and will be a great addition to our squad.”
