Full time Ref blows it up, Scotland rescue a win in the opening game of the Summer Series. A tad harsh on the Irish but Andy Robinson won’t care. Scotland did well today, they had lots of the ball and tried to run it when they could. Jo Ansbro’s try a deserving of a win. Ireland coach Declan Kidney will be relatively happy, the Irish defended well while Luke Fitzgerland and Andrew Trimble impressed today. As you would expected substitutions played a large part in the game with both sides making the maximum allowed, seven.
