West Bromwich Albion needed a 90th minute goal from Somen Tchoyi to rescue a draw from their pre season friendly with Parma at the Hawthorns.

With the season’s opener with Manchester United just 7 days away Roy Hodgson named a strong starting 11 with Ben Foster, Nick Shorey, Chris Brunt, James Morrison and Graham Dorrans all starting.

Brunt could have given the hosts the lead but Nicola Pavarini was equal to his penalty and instead it was the Italian’s who went in at the break in the lead, Nicola Sansone rifling the ball past Foster.

Irish international Simon Cox came on after 55 minutes and his introduction seemed to life WBA, the former Swindon striker going agonisingly close after rounding Pavarini.

However 3 minutes into stoppage time Tchoyi bundled the ball home from Jonas Olsson cross.
