it has been confirmed that Await The Dawn will finally get his shot at Group 1 glory when he lines up in the Juddmonte International at York.

The Giants Causeway colt has only ever lost one race in his entire career and was last seen blitzing his rivals in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot back in June. Annmaire O’Brien tweeted “Await The Dawn is being aimed at the Juddmonte International at York and Wonder Of Wonders at the Yorkshire Oaks”

Joining Await The Dawn and Wonder Of Wonders will be Seville who has finished runner up in the Irish Derby and the Grand Prix De Pairs on his last two starts. The Galileo colt will run in the Great Voltigeur which is an established trial for the Ladbrokes St Leger.

Plans for impressive Debutante Stakes winner Maybe have also been firmed up. The Galileo filly who won with some ease at the Curragh will travel back to the Co. Kildare track to take her chance in the Group 1 Moyglare Stakes on August 28.

O’Brien tweeted “Maybe will hopefully run next in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on August 28.”

Sportsnewsireland.com will have live score updates on all GAA Championship matches over the summer.
