Dublin hurlers facing injury crisis

Dublin’s injury worries continue ahead of Sunday’s All Ireland Hurling semi-final clash with Tipperary, with the confirmation yesterday that David Treacy will miss the game after picking up a hamstring tear in training over the weekend.

Treacy now joins Stephen Hiney, Tomás Brady, Conal Keaney and Oisín Gough on the sidelines, becoming the latest potential starter to be ruled out of Anthony Daly’s plans. A season that promised so much for the Dubs has suddenly started to fall apart, as injury looks set to wreck their campaign.

Meanwhile, opponents Tipperary have no such worries and are expected to name the same fifteen players that disposed of Waterford in the Munster Final last month.
