Kerry team news ahead of Mayo match

Tomás Ó Sé has emerged as a doubtful starter for Kerry in Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Mayo.

The defender strained his hamstring in a behind closed doors training session at the Fota Island Golf Resort Sports Centre in Cork over the weekend and it is understood to be touch and go regarding his availability.

O’ Se will undergo a scan later this afternoon to help determine the seriousness of the injury. If he fails to make the game on Sunday, Eoin Brosnan will almost certainly retain his place at centre back, with Aidan O’Mahony coming back into the side at wing back.
