Marc Lievremont has made 13 changes to his French side for the pre world cup friendly against Ireland on Saturday at the Aviva.
French fans will be particularly pleased to see the return of 63 times capped Clermont centre Aurelien Rougerie to the line up.
The 30-year-old is back in a French jersey for the first time since fracturing his ankle in the semi-finals of the Top 14 in early May.
Winger Alexis Palisson is the only member of the back line that helped France to a 19-12 in Bordeaux last weekend with Palisson and Rougerie lining alongside Fabrice Estebanez, Maxime Medard and Cedric Heymans in a new look back line
Meanwhile David Skrela and scrum-half Morgan Parra form a new half-back partnership replacing Francois Trinh-Duc and Dimitri Yachvili
In the forwards hooker Dimitri Szarzewski gets another chance to impress with Lievremont leaving out William Servat while Lionel Nallet will replace flanker Thierry Dusautoir as the captain.
The clash with Ireland will be France’s final warm up before they head to New Zealand and Lievremont will reveal his 30 man World cup squad on Sunday.
