Arsenal has announced that Emmanuel Eboue, Carlos Vela and defender Pedro Botelho have become the latest players to leave the club.
However the departure of Eboue is the only permanent move with the 28 year old agreeing terms to seal a move to Turkish side Galatasaray on a four year deal.
The Ivory Coast international had been widely tipped to leave the Gunners this summer after he struggled for first team action last season and wasn’t handed a squad number ahead of the new campaign.
A statement on Arsenal.com, the clubs official website read “Arsenal have agreed terms with Turkish side Galatasaray for the transfer of Emmanuel Eboue. Everyone at Arsenal thanks Manu for his contribution towards the club and wishes him the best of luck for the future.”
The transfer ends a six year stay in England, having joined the gunners from Belgian side Beveren in 2005, in all Eboue made 216 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal scoring 13 goals.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has sanctioned loans moves for Mexican striker Vela and Brazilian defender Botelho. Both players will follow recently departed Cesc Fabregas to Spain with 22 year old Vela spending the season on loan Real Sociedad and 21 year old Botelho linking up with Rayo Vallecano
