Paul Galvin is a notable absentee from Kerry’s starting fifteen for Sunday’s All Ireland Semi Final against Mayo.
The Finuge man has struggled with a hamstring injury this season and only made his first championship start of the of 2011 against Limerick last time out. Galvin also missed out on parts of a recent training camp in Cork and had been a doubt to start Sunday’s match.
Kieran O’Leary is the player to benefit, with the youngster coming into the side at left corner forward. Darran O’Sullivan has been passed fit to play and he moves out to Galvin’s right half forward position. Eoin Brosnan has retained his place at centre back despite rumours that he may lose out to Aidan O’Mahony.
Tomas O’Se has also been included in the team, having recovered from a recent injury scare. The West Kerry defender had a slight hamstring scare earlier in the week.
