Luke Fitzgerald could get his first opportunity to impress after he failed to make the 30 man squad for Ireland’s World Cup bid when Leinster welcome the Northampton Saints to Donnybrook this Friday in a rematch from the epic Heineken Cup final last May.
Fitzgerald along with Shane Jennings and Kevin McLaughlin could make their first starts for their province as they reigning Heineken Cup champions continue their build-up to the defence of their title along with the start of the RaboDirect PRO12 campaign.
Leinster are also hopeful that Dave Kearney will be able to play some part in the game having suffered a calf strain which forced him to miss last weeks game against the Melbourne Rebels, a game which Leinster won 14-13.
Tickets for the game on Friday are available from €10 for adults and €5 for children, while stand tickets cost €20. Tickets are available at Spar Donnybrook, the Leinster Rugby Store (Donnybrook) and from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
