Arsenal defender Armand Traore is to have a medical at Premier League new boys QPR today. The young left back played in the Gunners’ embarrasing 8-2 defeat at Old Trafford but is now likely to move on.

The 21 year old could become the latest player to leave the Emirates, if the Senegal international leaves then he will become the 7th departure this summer. If he is to complete his move before the deadline then he will leave Arsene Wenger with an even bigger defensive problem. The French manager has just three days to improve his squad dramatically after Sunday’s embarrasing defeat.

Traore will become Neil Warnock’s third signing since the takeover of Tony Fernandes. Joey Barton and Luke Young have joined the ranks at Loftus Road and Warnock is targeting a few more new faces before Wednesday’s deadline with Shaun Wright-Phillips the top of his wish list
