A home tie against Bohemians in the prize tonight as local rivals Dundalk and Drogheda United lock horns for fifth time this season in the replay of their FAI Ford Cup fourth round tie, kick-off 7.45pm.
The sides drew 1-1 at Hunky Dory Park on Friday with Mark Quigley’s penalty on the stroke of half time cancelling out Dave Rogers’ 5th minute goal for Drogheda.
Ian Foster has a number of worries coming into the game with Mark Griffin and Ross Gaynor rated as doubtful for the game joining long term absentee’s Eoghan Osborne (broken leg), Stephen McDonnell (knee) and Stephen Maher (broken foot) who are still unavailable.
Foster will also be without star midfielder Daniel Kearns who has left the club to join championship side Peterborough United meaning should Gaynor and Griffin not make it then he will only have 10 fit outfield players.
Drogheda will be without Stephen Quigley, who was sent off on Friday night as well as Jack Flynn and Colm O’Brien although Mick Cooke will be able to call on the services of Peter McMahon following injury
