Bradford City sign Irish U21 striker

Irish under-21 star Terry Dixon was one of the lesser lights to make a move on the transfer deadline however the former West Ham star will have been delighted off the offer of a one year deal from Bradford.

The former West Ham and Stevenage player, who was without a club following his release in the summer by Tooting, will now spend time on loan with non league side AFC Halifax after the club loaned him out shortly after signing him.

Dixon rose to prominence when he was called into the Irish squad while still only 16 and on the books of Spurs however a serious knee injury hampered his progress and less than 5 years later the player has already had spells with 5 clubs with Bradford the fourth club he has signed for this year along.

Dixon has played twice for the Irish U21 side and has represented Ireland at underage levels.
