Newcastle striker Nile Ranger has been arrested for the second time in as many weeks. He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving but was later released on bail pending blood test results.
The 20 year old was arrested a fortnight ago on suspicion of assault after a 33-year-old was found unconscious outside a pub in Newcastle city centre.
He was bailed later. He has not been far from trouble during his short career already. After just signing for Crystal Palace, he was sentenced to 11 weeks in a Youth offender’s institute following his part in an armed robbery.
Ranger has been linked with a move away from St James Park following falling down the pecking order under Alan Pardew but his antics off the pitch might defer any potential bids for the striker
