French international Marvin Martin has become one of the most talked about players in Europe and it appears that his talent has caught the eye of a number of Premier League clubs with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and now Newcastle all after his signature.
Martin, who has made over a 100 appearances for his club Sochaux, has firmly established himself in the French national team and could leave his club as soon as next summer as it is reported that he has an agreement with the club that he can leave next summer if a foreign club makes a significant offer.
The player, who has earned the nickname ‘Little Xavi’ off his teammates has particularly caught the eye of Newcastle manager Alan Pardew. According to reports in the Sunday Sun Pardew wants the French midfielder at the club and even sent chief scout Graham Carr to watch the player in action
Should Martin join Newcastle he will link up with fellow French players Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye, Mehdi Abeid, Sylvain Marveaux and Gabriel Obertan who are already at the club.
