Ryan Moore will make his comeback from serious injury this Friday as he builds up to ride reigning Arc champion Workforce as they bid to win back to back Arc’s at Longchamp on Sunday.
Moore has been out of action since he suffered a broken right arm and thumb in a pile-up at Goodwood at the end of July. He had planned to be back sooner but his recovery took longer than anticipated.
His first pubic appearance since the fall came when he partnered Workforce in a racecourse gallop last week at Sandown. He will take two rides, Tuscania and Kinyras, for Sir Michael Stoute at Ascot, and will be off to Longchamp on Sunday.
His agent Tony Hind said: “He’s got his doctor’s note saying he can resume on the 30th [Friday] and I saw those two entered and that was it.
“I don’t know yet where he’ll be on Saturday, as I’m only just doing those races now, but I’m absolutely over the moon he’s back.”
