Liverpool forward Luis Suarez says fourth place is the highest his side can achieve this season and said the top three teams Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are “unreachable”.
Suarez says that the title is well out of reach for the Merseysiders this year and a fourth place finish and good runs in the cup is the main aim for the season.
The Uruguayan international said the standard in England was very high and the level at the top was beyond Liverpool’s grasp.
“The main reason why it is so difficult is because the two Manchesters and Chelsea are unreachable. But we can win the cups.”
Liverpool currently sit in fifth place in the table six points behind the Manchester sides and three off Chelsea.
