The draw for the 2012 Munster hurling championship has been made and it looks like we could have a repeat of last years final with Waterford & Tipperary possibly meeting once again.
Waterford must first get over an improving young Clare side in their semi final clash, although this could yet prove a major stumbling block for the aging Deise outfit. Clare have been excellent at underage level over the last few seasons and have built a very strong side. They gave Tipperary a real fright in 2010 and must not be far away from the breakthrough at senior level.
Tipperary face Cork in their first game, with a tie against Limerick, the prize for the victors. While the Treaty side made huge strides under Donal O’Grady last season , his departure could yet have a negative impact on the county. Tipperary have to be strong favourites to come through this side of the draw and meet either Waterford or Clare.
