2012 Leinster football draw and fixture times

All Ireland champions Dublin will open their 2012 campaign with a tie against the winners of Westmeath and Louth. Should the current provincial champions get through that game, they look likely to meet old rivals Kildare in the final.

The Lilywhites were unfortunate to lose out to Pat Gilroy’s men in last season’s provincial tie and will be out to gain revenge this summer. The two big teams looks likely to meet in the decider if things work out as expected.

Meath are another county that will see 2012 as a chance to make up for lost time and their progress should be followed with interest. The county still has some fine footballers and they could yet play a big part in the 2012 series.
