Arsenal are tracking CSKA Moscow’s young star Alan Dzagoev with Man City and Spurs also monitoring events closely
The 21 year old has been labelled ‘the most talented young footballer in Russia’ by Gunners forward Andrey Arshavin and has been linked with a move away from Moscow.
Chelsea are also interested in Dzagoev, who is back to his best after a dip in form last year that saw his attitude questioned, and the former Krylia Sovetov midfielder scored a stunning free-kick against Inter Milan last week to seal a Champions league win for the Russian side.
Ironically any move to London would be dependent on the future of Andrey Arshavin, who is currently in talks with the club over extending his stay at the Emirates.
Arshavin is said to have held positive negotiations with Arsenal’s chief executive Ivan Gazidis over a new two year deal however his wage demands could hamper any deal.
Should Arshavin not sign on, Arsenal will be forced into the market and that could mean a move for Dzagoev.
