Liverpool line up de Jong move

Liverpool are lining up a 10 million pound move for FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong according to reports in the Guardian.

The 21 year old has caught the attention of clubs around Europe following an impressive start to the season that has seen him score seven goals in just eight games so far this term, helping his side to third in the table behind AZ Alkmaar and PSV Eindhoven.

The Swiss born strikers form has been such that Burt van Marwijk handed the player his international debut in February and the striker has one goal and three caps to his name already, scoring his first goal for the Dutch in a 2-0 Euro 2012 qualifier in Finland.
