Giovanni Trapattoni has named Simon Cox in his starting 11 for the vital Euro 2012 qualifier with Armenia in the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday at 6.45pm.

The West Brom striker replaces the injured Robbie Keane and gets the nod ahead of Shane Long and Jon Walters who were all vying for to partner Kevin Doyle once doubts had emerged over the fitness of Keane.

Richard Dunne returns after missing the clash with Andorra through suspension and will resume his partnership with Sean St Ledger with Darren O’Dea the odd man out dropping to the bench.
