Liverpool and Manchester City are both monitoring USA international Brek Shea
The FC Dallas winger is highly regarded in his homeland and has been capped six times for Jurgen Klinsman’s international side since making his debut against Colombia last year.
The 21 year old can play out wide or up front and in 29 MLS appearances this season has scored 9 goals and created 3.
The Premiership duo are both believed to have watched Shea in action over the weekend as he created the only goal in the USA’s 1-0 win over Honduras while German side Schalke are believed to have had a 2.5 million pound bid rejected.
Should he decide to make the move to England, the Texan born star could rival QPR’s Joey Barton not just on the field but off the field, where he’s love of the arts has seen him earn a reputation as a talented painter.
