88 mins Walters breaks free and shoots just wide, he has made a big impact since coming on

85 mins Walters runs at the defence and shoots but straight at the ‘keeper, almost there now

83 mins Hunt goes on a mazy run and seems to be fouled by the ‘keeper but the ref points for a corner instead

81 mins RED CARD! Doyle is given his marching orders for a second booking, very very harsh, ref deemed he elbowed the defender, he will now miss both play off legs if we get there

78 mins All set for a nervy last ten minutes here, Armenia searching for the equaliser and then more as Walters comes on for Simon Cox he receives a standing ovation

75 mins Keith Fahey replaces Whelan, Armenia still a threat

72 mins Ireland beginning to keep the ball now, going on where though, 18 minutes plus injury time

68 mins Kevin Doyle picks up a yellow card for a rash challenge, he will now miss a potential play-off first leg. From the free Armenia win a corner but it’s headed just over

50 mins Great chance for Cox as he dummies one but fails to get his shot away from a few yards out

48 mins More impressive play from Cox as he escapes his man and finds Doyle but his shot is blocked

47 mins First chance of the hlaf falls to the visitors, Movsisyan turns O’Shea but his effort is weak

HT: Rep of Ireland 1-0 Armenia

45 mins The sub ‘keeper slides out and the referee deemed he handled it outside the area, yellow card for him but McGeady wastes the free kick

43 mins Incredible goal really, Duff’s low cross is somehow missed by Doyle when the goal was gapping but somehow Aleksanyan bundles it into his own net!

33 mins Cox has been superb so far, he controls brilliantly and then cuts inside but his shot is weak

31 mins Looking at replays again, it actually looked like Cox handled the ball in the build up to the sending off, Armenia hard done by it seems but they still flow forward

29 mins On comes the sub ‘keeper and McGeady’s free goes just over the bar, Russia now 2-0 up

27 mins It looks a bit harsh, it seemed to strike him just under the shoulder, but you could argue that he shouldn’t have had his hands up

26 mins RED CARD Cox goes through, out comes the ‘keeper and he handles it outside the box, and he’s off!!

24 mins Ref plays advantage as Armenia come forward, a patient bit of play results in Movsisyan shooting well wide

17 mins Break in play as Cox receives some treatment for a head injury, he is ok though and back on

15 mins Just to let you know Stephen Kelly picked up a booking for a late challenge a few minutes back, he will have to be careful now against a dangerous looking side

14 mins Great ball in behind the Irish defence as Movsisyan looks to latch onto it but out comes Given and sees it behind

12 mins Keeper under considerable pressure but punches well, Ireland come back at them though and Cox is through before laying it to Doyle but he shoots straight at the ‘keeper
