Former Ireland international Sean O’Driscoll is in the frame to be the new Portsmouth manager.

Portsmouth are looking for a new manager following the departure of Steve Cotterill who left the club to take charge at fellow championship side Nottingham Forest.

54 year old O’Driscoll was recently sacked by Doncaster after a poor start to the season and is currently available and interested in the job.

However O’Driscoll, who was capped three times by Ireland faces a tough battle to get the job with former Cardiff boss Dave Jones and caretaker boss Stuart Gray also in the picture.

Nominated for 2011 Realex Web Awards
