Manchester United are reported to have approached Juventus over the availability of Serbian winger Milos Krasic.

Krasic moved to the Old Lady from CSKA Moscow in 2010 after attracting attention for his speed, direct running and technique in the Russian league, he made an initial impact under Luigi Delneri but has struggled to find his place in the side under new boss Antonio Conte.

According to Corriere dello Sport Alex Ferguson has inquired about the possibility of taking the Serb on loan for six months as Krasic would help bolster their squad ahead of a push for the premier league and Champions League as he is not cup-tied for the competition.

The United boss has a host of wide options at the club but Krasic’s vision and power going forward have earned him interest in several top clubs in Europe and Ferguson may need to add to his midfield if his side is to compete with strength in depth of Manchester City.
