Joe Schmidt will be able to call on a number of returning internationals as his side prepare to resume domestic duties this Friday evening when they travel to Edinburgh.
The likes of Isaac Boss, Sean Cronin, Leo Cullen, Shane Jennings, Fergus McFadden, Eoin Reddan and Jonathan Sexton are back in contention and they could be included in the team which will be named on Thursday lunchtime.
Second row Steven Sykes is continuing his rehabilitation from the knee injury which had ruled him out of the opening weeks of the season with another productive workout for the Leinster ‘A’ team who defeated Ulster 46-19 in Donnybrook on Friday night.
While the likes of Sexton and co could feature on Friday night it is anticipated that the majority of the front line internationals will line out for the first time since the World Cup when Leinster clash with Munster on Friday week in the Aviva Stadium.
The ticket sales for the Munster game are approaching the 38,200 mark and tickets are available from www.leinsterrugby.ie, Spar (Donnybrook), the Leinster Rugby Store (Donnybrook) as well as Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
