Manchester City have confirmed that defender Greg Cunningham has been loaned out to Nottingham Forest until the end of December.

The 20 year old has fallen down the pecking order at Eastlands and a move to Forest should give him a chance to get his career back on track after breaking his leg on New Year’s Day while playing for Leicester City.

Cunningham will now link up with Forest manager Steve Cotterill at the City Ground, who will be hoping that Cunningham’s arrival will help his side improve on their current 19th position in the Championship table.
