Eden Hazard, who has been a long term target for Arsenal, has confirmed that he will leave French champions Lille and move from France.

The 20-year-old has been tracked for a number of months by a host of clubs and it appears that one club will get their man as Hazard confimred to French paper L’Equipe that he ready for a fresh challenege away from Lille.

“Paris is not for now. Paris is magical, as they say. Of course it attracts me. But for now, go, no. In France, I do not want to build a rival club Lille. It would be inconsistent. People would not understand, and I have some beautiful things to live here to grow the club,” said Hazard.

“”I stayed this year in Lille because I still have things to work and prove. But now I’m ready. I feel able to intrude in other countries.”
