Munster scrum half Peter Stringer has been named in the Barbarians squad to face Australia at Twickenham next Saturday.
Stringer, the only Irish player to be selected in the squad, will be joined by nine other internationals in Graham Henry’s squad.
World Cup winners Richard Kahui and Keven Mealamu are in line to play along with Wigan and England rugby league player Sam Tomkins, who’s inclusion surprised many people as Tomkins played in last weekend’s rugby league Four Nations final for England against Australia.
The Baa- Bas will not include any Welsh players as it was confirmed that they will not have to take part and can instead prepare themselves for the visit of Australia to Cardiff on December 3rd.
