Updated: December 4, 2011

Liverpool head to Fulham on Monday their season on an upward curve following a recent good run of results which has seen them reach the semi final of the Carling cup and on the cusp of the top four.

With four win’s from 6 games the Reds have improved significantly on last season’s away problems and with a distinct edge over Fulham will hope to keep that form going.

Fulham have managed just three wins in the last 20 meetings between the sides and have failed to score in six of their last 8 games against Liverpool. Martin Jol’s side head into this game with just two wins all season, only one of which was at home.

Last weekend however they grabbed a credible draw at the Emirates against Arsenal and Jol will keen for his side to push on from that point.

Craig Bellamy is also pushing for a start after his fantastic display against Chelsea while Maxi, who scored a hat trick at Craven Cottage last season, and Stewart Downing are battling for a starting berth on the left.
