Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is looking to shake up his forward line as the continuing run of form by Andy Carroll causes concerns on Merseyside.
The former Newcastle striker is struggling to find goals easy to come by at the moment and with Liverpool in need of goals Dalglish is set to to step up his pursuit of Bologna’s Gaston Ramirez.
According to reports in Italian publication Corriere dello Sport Dalglish and Damien Comolli are eyeing the 21 year old Uruguay international.
Liverpool are prepared to offer £14m for the forward once the January transfer window opens for business and will the presence of Luiz Suarez and Sebastien Coates at Anfield will help convince the player to move to the Premier League.
Ramirez has scored 7 times in 35 league games for Bologna since making his debut for the club in September 2010.
