Crystal Palace have signed out of favour Hull City defender Paul McShane on a month’s loan
The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland defender, who can play at centre half or right-back,
has played just two games for Hull this season after falling out of favour under Nigel Pearson and his successor Nick Barmby.
McShane, who has also played for West Brom and Sunderland, goes straight into the squad for Palace’s match at home to Leeds United on Saturday.
Dougie Freedman has also added another Irish man in the shape of Cork’s John Egan from Sunderland to their squad as well as Doncaster Rovers’ Mustapha Dumbuya to their squad this month as he chases a play off place.
