Following the announcement earlier today that Vodafone are to end their fourteen year sponsorship of the All Stars ceremony, Etihad have said that they will ‘look’ at their current deal with the GAA.
The airline company has yet to decide whether of not it will continue it’s sponsorship of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. A decision is likely before the end of March. Etihad, who jointly sponsor the championship with both Guinness and RTE, signed up for an additional 12 month period last season but that deal is now up for renewal.
Chief executive, James Hogan, said that the link with the GAA had been important in building Etihad’s reputation in Ireland and the company were keen to continue their association. bb
