Corbett withdraws from Tipperary panel

Tipperary’s All Ireland hopes have been dealt a blow following the decision of Lar Corbett to retire from Inter-County hurling.

The 30 year old, the 2010 Hurler of the year, informed Tipperary manager Declan Ryan of his decision to withdraw from the panel citing work and business commitments.

The Thurles Sarsfields forward made his Championship debut in 2001 and helped the Premier County to two All-Ireland titles and four Munster titles

The Tipperary management have left the door open for three time all star Corbett to return should he his circumstances change.
