Stephen Ferris been has cleared by citing committee in London this afternoon, but Bradley Davies will miss the rest of the Six Nations.

Ulster and Irish Flanker Stephen Ferris has been cleared of any wrongdoing after being cited for his tackle on Welsh Lock Ian Evans on Sunday and is now free to play against France at the Stade de France on Saturday.

The resulting penalty from Ferris’s tackle was converted by Leigh Halfpenny which gave Wales a crucial 23-21 victory over Ireland at the Aviva Stadium. The result ends Ireland’s hopes of a Grand Slam and Triple Crown in the RBS Six Nations this year.

He commented on twitter afterwards “Thank goodness that is all over. Happy man.”
