The Jonjo O’Neill trained Synchronised has become the latest big name to be ruled out of Sunday’s Irish Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown.

The winner of the Lexus Chase over the Christmas period, Synchronised joins Qiuto De La Roque and Jessies Dream in missing the Grade 1 contest.

Frank Berry, racing manager to Synchronised’s owner JP McManus, said: “Jonjo wasn’t happy with Synchronised this morning, so the horse won’t be travelling to Leopardstown.

“We will have to wait a bit longer before he runs again and there are no plans for him yet.”
