Given the potential of a 10 point deduction, the Irish firm decided to cough up and give punters an early present. The Bhoys are currently four points clear at the top of the SPL having extended a run of consecutive league and cup victories to 17 games with a win over Inverness.

“Celtic fans have two reasons to celebrate now with the SPL crown as good as theirs and the fact that we have paid out early!” commented Nicola McGeady, Boylesports PR Spokesperson.
